Habitat for Humanity
Kerr County (HFHKC), the beneficiary of the 2009 Hill Country
Charity Ball is an ecumenical Christian organization dedicated
to partnering with God and community volunteers to provide
qualified families the opportunity to own decent, affordable
homes. HFHKC has proudly served our community since 1989 and is
nearing completion of house number 80.
Habitat for Humanity is
requesting $60,000 for engineering costs associated with the
development of 12.46 acres at the corner of Legion and
Meadowview which will ultimately yield approximately 56 lots.
Habitat for Humanity generally completes 5 to 6 homes per year,
but their current inventory is only 3 lots.
The 2009 Hill Country
Charity Ball will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Camp Rio
Vista in Ingram. Tickets may be purchased in advance by visiting
